Memorizing the Lines
The lines I choose were the first 15 lines of the lecture that Antony gives to the citizens to persuade them of Caesar’s goodness. The lines are very important because is the opening of a very important and It is also a speech to sway the citizens that Brutus is a bad bad man. I choose to memorize for many reasons. One reason was because I was quite familiar with the first line “Friends, Romans Countrymen” from studying the play a few years ago. Another reason was because I liked the language used in the line. The opening of the speech grabs your attention right away.
